Plot Overview

When a military research base is attacked, a small group of civilians and military personnel escape on a ship into deep space. But divisions emerge between those who want to attempt a return to Earth and those who want to remain aboard the Destiny.

After secretly contacting Homeworld Command, Dr. Rush claims that he has been placed in charge by Gen. O’Neill and that there is no hope of returning to Earth. But his assertions are soon questioned.
