Plot Overview
A gunship arrives on Hypori and heads straight for the downed ship, passing over waves of Super Battle Droids. They drop what appear to be explosives, prompting the droids to shoot at them as they pass. The gunship flies straight into the wreckage and the clone troopers disembark, sensing three life signs. They find Ki-Adi-Mundi still locked in combat with General Grievous. The troopers open fire, breaking up the fight. Despite the Jedi Master's protests, they evacuate Ki-Adi-Mundi, Aayla Secura, and Shaak Ti.
The Jedi Council meets, and in response to the diminishing numbers of Jedi, Obi-Wan proposes allowing Anakin to skip the Jedi trials and become a full-fledged Jedi Knight. The assembled masters begin to debate, but Yoda makes the final decision: Anakin will be a Jedi.
Anakin is walking through the streets of Coruscant when he senses he is being followed. He pulls the person into an alley only to see that it is his beloved, Padmé. They have a quiet moment before being interrupted by the rather loud appearance of C-3PO. 3PO is relieved to see them, but Anakin notices something new — C-3PO is now covered in gold plating. The conversation is interrupted by a call from Obi-Wan, summoning Anakin to the temple.
Obi-Wan talks to Anakin, reminding him how proud he is of Anakin. Anakin is led into the council chamber, where the Jedi Masters wait in a circle with lightsabers pointed upright. Yoda declares Anakin a Jedi, cutting off his padawan braid.
3PO brings the braid to Padmé, who sends a message with R2-D2 in return, right before the astromech droid is loaded into Anakin's starfighter and they take off.

Happenings
- Ki-Adi-Mundi, Aayla Secura, and Shaak Ti are rescued from Hypori. Ki-Adi-Mundi would like to pursue General Grievous further, but the clone troopers won't let him go.
- The council decides to make Anakin a Jedi Knight at Obi-Wan's suggestion. They summon the youth to their council chamber, where Yoda cuts off Anakin's braid and makes the pronouncement.
- Anakin meets with Padmé in an alley.

- Anakin becomes a full Jedi Knight, and his padawan braid is given to Padmé. She places it in a box alongside the necklace he carved for her as a boy.
