Season Three of Star Trek: The Next Generation premiered on September 25, 1989.

Season three marked the return of Doctor Beverly Crusher. It was also the first time in the series we got to see the recurring character Lieutenant Reginald Barclay, who would later also make appearances on Star Trek: Voyager.
