Scooby-Doo! Frankencreepy is the twenty-second release in the series of DVD animated movies based on the long-running Scooby-Doo series. It premiered July 27, 2014 at San Diego's Comic-Con International and on Digital HD August 5. It was released August 19 on DVD and Blu-Ray. Its TV premiere is February 21, 2015 on Cartoon Network.
The gang travels to a castle in Transylvania (Pennsylvania, not the country) that Velma inherits from her uncle Dr. Dinkelstein and is put under a curse fretting about losing what means the most to them. Velma proceeds with the experiment to prove that her uncle's plans were a failure (which is the basis of her love of proving that ghosts do not exist) but becomes hypnotized into being a mad scientist bent on bringing her uncle's creation, the Frankencreep, to life. The film is already coming under fire for Daphne's fear, of becoming obese.
