Plot Overview
Dan's father shows up bearing gifts, and all are thrilled to see him, except Dan himself. As the visit drags on for them, the insults are hurled in Dan's direction and Roseanne steps in between the two of them to deflect any further damage. Dan sees his father's philosophy of "work smart, not hard" as a direct put-down on his life, while his father sees it as caring advice.
