- One of the young men being taught boxing by Father McRoberts says he has to work at a butcher shop. Overhearing this, Sam recounts to the young man a movie where a guy used beef hanging up in a meat freezer as a punching bag. The movie was Rocky and to Sam's surprise, the young man he was talking to was a young Sylvester Stallone who was the film's writer.
