Plot Overview

Sam makes a haunting leap when he's a police detective arriving on the scene of a murder. Soon he is having nightmares he believes are the result of trauma from his host and may leave him vulnerable to the actual killer.

The Show

• Once again, the teaser is an edited down version of what played in the previous episode's tag. The tag version is about two minutes long whereas the teaser version is about half the length and even sees Sam's leap in occur later in the scene.

Goofs

• Sam brings up the time he and Al switched places in "The Leap Back", but at the end of the episode, we were told that Sam had forgotten.
