Happenings

  • Sam learns that Connie has been assumed by a time traveller named Alia. He discovers this when they touch and see each other for who they are. She also has an Observer who, like Al, can see them both for who they are (but can't see each other). Sam initially believes she is doing good like him, but she then emotionally manipulates him and when Frank comes home, she stages a rape attack, turning Frank on Jimmy. After he leaves, she is ordered by her Observer, Zoey, to kill Sam, but he talks her out of it. Alia and Zoey then disappear in a strange event before Sam inexplicably leaps back (with Al in tow) to two days earlier where it seems all of what they experienced is no longer part of history.
  • According to Al, Sam has gone through over 80 leaps.
  • It's not specified, but Sam speculates that he's returned about a couple of years after his previous leap into Jimmy.

Characters

Referbacks

  • Sam recalls some of Al told him about his sister Trudy from the last time Sam leaped into Jimmy.

Trivia

The Show

  • While Lee Harvey Oswald was the first time Sam leaped into the same person, this is the first time he has non-consecutively returned to a previous person.

Behind the Scenes

  • After Sam gets the gun from Alia, there was a bit where Al reads from his handlink that Ziggy calculates that Sam has to shoot Alia. She then thinks he tricked, as she seems to speak in Zoey's voice. There's a struggle before she and Zoey disappear as in the aired version.
