Happenings

  • When Al's chances of being found guilty reach 100%, the Observer suddenly becomes a British man named Edward St. John V. Al seems to have no knowledge of this when he returns. There's also nothing indicating that Al recalls being in the future, talking to his older self, and leaping back to undo the killing of Marci and the aftermath that followed. However, after Al was replaced, Sam notes that his memory of him was fading, as he also had no recollection of any past with St. John.
  • In reverse to Sam, the reflection of those in the waiting room is that of Sam.

Characters

  • It's revealed that Al was responsible for naming Ziggy. In the brief altered timeline, it's named Alpha (and referred to as "he"). Also without Al, Tina married Gushie.
  • It's revealed that Al was nicknamed Bingo as a navy officer. He also didn't smoke cigars until Vietnam.
