- Due to the actress' real life battle with leukemia, Kendrix had to be written out mid-season, not being able to return until the finale. However, because she was only on sick leave, her credit remained in the opening throughout so Saban can help pay for her treatment.
- Gemma's death was reminiscent of the one Kendrix had. The only real difference was that since the R.P.M. powers are technology based, Dr. K was able to remove her from the grid manually. Since the Quasar Sabers were the source of the Galaxy Rangers' powers, Kendrix had to wait until wait until they were placed back in the stone before she would reappear.
