From The TV IV

Point Pleasant is a paranormal drama that aired on FOX. It was about a girl who washed up on the shore in Point Pleasant, New Jersey. Throughout the short run of the series she learns that she is the daughter of Satan and destined to do great evil. However she also has good in her and this tension between the two sides of her personality created the drama of the series. The series was prematurely cancelled in March of 2005 due to unsatisfactory ratings.
