Plot Overview
Murder hits close to home for Petrocelli when Pete, his close friend and legman, is accused of killing a blackmailer who was harassing his lady friend. The dead man was demanding money to ensure that he wouldn't be called in the woman's battle for custody of her daughter. Tony not only pounds the pavement in the seedier parts of town looking for acquaintances of the dead man, but he also confronts the woman's in-laws, who are seeking custody of the young girl. Eventually, he finds himself looking for a guitar player who may be the real killer.
