Plot Overview

Sketches

  • Beating Hippie Open: David is late to the show, and Bob is furious. They argue about their differences, then bond by beating a hippie to death. (Link: With their newfound togetherness, Bob and David rush backstage to put on their wigs.)
  • No Adults Allowed: Three adults pose as teenagers to try to convince teens to behave, but instead they learn a lesson about discrimination. (Link: Marjoe Crawley introduces the New KKK.)
  • New KKK: A promotion for the new integrated KKK. (Link: The host of the Awards for Advertising American Ads introduces the next nominee for "Most Improved Image.")
  • Ad Awards/Mob Chase: Ad agencies are both awarded and despised for rehabilitating the image of groups such as the KKK and NAMBLA. (Link: Trevor McNish, fleeing from an angry mob, is hit by a car driven by drunk cops.)
  • Drunk Cops: A version of COPS where the policemen are extremely drunk. (Link: Sulu the iguana blocks the TV showing Drunk Cops.)
  • Iguana: Serial pet owner Nathan shows off his new iguana, then half-accidentally kills it. (Link: A bored mourner takes the name of Jeepers Creepers in vain.)
  • Jeepers Creepers: In a parody of Jesus Christ Superstar, Jeepers Creepers is the slacker messiah. (Link: The final shot is the cover of The Big Book of Broadway Failures.)
  • Hippie Pie Close: Bob and David explain to the cast why they made a movie of a broadway failure, then enjoy the pie they made from a dead hippie. The show ends with a cold tag inspired by Our Gang.

  • Cast Substitution: In the original stage version of the sketch "No Adults Allowed," Craig was played by Brian Posehn. The video sketch "New KKK" was also used in the stage version.
  • Shooting Location: The "Jeepers Creepers" sketch was shot on location at Vasquez Rocks Natural Area Park in Agua Dulce, CA.
