Matty's Funday Funnies was a children's cartoon that aired on ABC. The Matty's in the title refers to "Matty, King Of Toys," the mascot of Mattel Toys. The weekly prime time series was showcase of cartoons previously screened in theaters from the Paramount-Famous Studios in New York. They were rebranded "Harveytoons" for television as the characters also appeared in a line of Harvey comics. Cartoons starred Little Audrey, Herman and Katnip, Buzzy the Crow, Baby Huey, and Casper the Friendly Ghost.

A week after Funday Funnies ended, ABC launched a new series sponsored by Mattel, Matty's Funnies With Beany And Cecil. That series ran six months before Beany and Cecil migrated to Saturday mornings on ABC.

Casper would get his own show on ABC in 1963 with The New Casper Cartoon Show which featured made-for-TV cartoons of the Friendly Ghost and Paramount's "Modern Madcaps", first shown in theaters then aired on ABC as Paul Winchell's Cartoonies.
