From The TV IV

Paul Winchell's Cartoonies was a half-hour Saturday morning show hosted by ventriloquist Paul Winchell and his dummies Jerry Mahoney and Knucklehead Smiff. During the show, Winchell introduced selected cartoons from Paramount's Modern Madcaps series.

A year later, the Modern Madcaps became the middle feature on The New Casper Cartoon Show.
