- was listed in the Guinness Book of World Records for having the largest shoe size not caused by Elephantiasis - size 29 1/2.
- stood 7' 6" but was frequently shot so as to look even taller. In particular, as Karl in Big Fish, he was meant to look more than 10 feet tall (more than a foot taller than the tallest recorded man ever), and much camera-trickery was used to make him look this tall
