The Egg and I is the seventeenth episode of the sixth season of Married... with Children, and the one hundred twenty-second episode overall.
Steve Rhodes returns,not as a returning friend,but as a fugitive.Steve had stolen a precious egg from a Nest,and is wanted.He first goes to the Bundy's.After some talk with his former Neighbors,he goes to his former House,to reclaim his former wife.Steve will recieve two surprising shocks.The Bundy's deliberatly fails to tell him that Marcy has remarried.He meets Jefferson in a surprising manner.The second shock comes as Marcy no longer wants anything to do with him.Having left her in a cowardly way(leaving her a good-bye note),she tells him that she loves Jefferson,and that Steve should leave.It will take Steve the entire episode to get the message,but it does finally sink into his skull.The Bundy's hide Steve from the Police,and FBI,when they come to the Bundy's House looking,but they do not give him up.It isn't because he is such a good friend,but because,Al had receive a letter saying that he has to pay a Tax Bill.The Bundy's all stand united with Al not to turn Steve in to the Police.That is until the News reports of a $10,000 reward on the apprehension of Steve,and the egg in which he stole.Only Al remains steadfast not to give Steve up,and makes sure none of the others turn him in.It would'nt matter anyway since somebody has informed the FBI about Steve hiding at the Bundy's House.They arrest Steve,but before he is takened away,and believing that the Bundy's turned him in,he puts an old Indian curse on them.The Bundy's did not turn him in,but they are arrested foe harboring a fugitive.The real informant as it turns out is the Bundy's Dog,Buck.
