• Attended and graduated from Juillard School, New York.
• Has a Psychology masters degree from Antioch University, Los Angeles.
• Married to stockbroker, Tom Mahoney, and the couple have frateral twin daughters Eden & Savannah, born February 2007.
• Earned her first award nominations in 2004 - Golden Globes, Screen Actors Guild, Golden Satelitte Award and TV Guide Award.
• The Panzi Hospital in East Congo is Marcia's top charity.
