Adam is one of the mysterious Others and lives with them in their small community in the interior of the island. He was a member of Juliet's book club.

On the day of the crash of Oceanic Flight 815, Adam was at Juliet's house for a book club meeting. He did not like the book Juliet chose and got into and argument with her and Amelia.

- 3x01 - A Tale of Two Cities: Adam was in Juliet's house at the time when Desmond failed to press the button on time. An earthquake occurred and after going outside, they could see the Oceanic Flight 815 crashing through the sky.
