Actual Items
A parody of an often occurring segment from both The Tonight Show with Jay Leno ("Headlines") and The Late Show with David Letterman ("Small Town News"). The difference in "Actual Items" is that all of the items are clearly fabricated.
Artie Kendall
The ghost of a long-dead singer from the 1920s when the studio was used for NBC's radio broadcasting system sings several racist or sexist songs, much to Conan's protest.

Celebrity Secrets
Celebrity guests reveal their deepest secrets from a dimly lit room that looks vaguely like a dingy interrogation room. The celebrities are often shown smoking and drinking whiskey before beginning their segment.
Celebrity Survey
Celebrities answer "fill in the blank" questions which start out serious, but the third answer always turns out to be a joke.
Central Time Zone New Year's Countdown
An annually occurring sketch on the December 31 episode which counts down until midnight for the Central Time Zone in the United States. Often features a fictional list of celebrities who "died" that year.
The Coked Up Werewolf
Not a cocaine addict who became a werewolf, but a normal werewolf who was bitten by a cocaine addict which passed on the addiction.
Conan O'Brien Hates My Homeland
Conan attempts to insult and degrade every country in alphabetical order in hopes of getting hate mail from those countries and finding out where his show is broadcast internationally.
Conan on the Aisle
Conan reviews movies that are in theaters at the time of the show, often focusing on satirical changes made to clips of the films.
Conan's Christmas Cards
A seasonal sketch in which Conan shows off several Christmas cards from celebrities. He usually uses this time to make fun of his standbys, like Larry King and whoever is in the news.

Desk Driving
Conan and a random audience member (previously sidekick Andy Richter) go for a drive in New York with Conan's desk and a green screen.
Duke the Rescue Dog
Duke, a golden retriever, warns Conan about some kind of danger that's happening. However, he's usually interrupted by Duffy the Nosy Bitch who calls him on being a glory hog.

The Evil Puppy
A "pure evil" puppy sits on a throne of skulls and is flanked by two stage-hands dressed as demons. Carmina Burana's "O Fortuna" plays in the background during his appearances.

Fedex Pope
One of the most maligned characters on the show, the Fedex Pope is a character who wears a robe and a Fedex box on his head as a makeshift Pope hat.

Horny Manatee
A character that evolved out of "New College Mascots," when Conan blurted out "HornyManatee.com" on air and NBC was forced to buy the website. They subsequently built the site as a mock manatee porn website.

If They Made It
Conan uses image manipulation software to make a guess at how celebrity couples' children would turn out. Inevitably, they turn out looking like deformed freaks.
In the Year 2000
Conan and a guest take a look into the distant future, "all the way into the year 2000."

Although it's his intention to relax at Joe's, a local bar, Conan is met with hatred from the bartender and a patron.

Late Night Small Talk Moment
Conan and Max Weinberg have a convoluted, fast-paced conversation about something that went on in the week (i.e. an episode of a reality series) before sharing awkward stares.
Little Jay Leno
A dwarf version of the late night talk show host and comedian Jay Leno, often seen driving a miniature red Corvette.

The Masturbating Bear
A frequently appearing character, the masturbating bear is a bear who is a compulsive masturbator. All of his appearances end with him fondling himself to the tune of Sabre Dance by Aram Khachaturian.

New College Mascots
Conan introduces new mascots for college sports teams like, for instance, "S&M Lincoln."
New Late Night Characters
Typically occurring at the beginning of the year, Conan profiles several potentially recurring characters like "The Drunk Who is Spooning Dr. Joyce Brothers."
New State Quarters
New quarters based on the various claims of fame of states in the United States are shown, often focusing on people associated with the state (like Bill Clinton and Arkansas).
No Reason to Live
Conan makes a generic statement which causes an audience member to declare that there's no reason to live and runs off to commit suicide in an elaborate way, often involving a kayak, train or skateboard.
Noches de Pasion con Señor O'Brien
A series of Spanish language segments mimicking the telenova style of soap opera programming on Telemundo, featuring Conan as a suave Latin hero.

The animated adventures of Jim Gaffigan and his sidekick, Conan. The two fight crime using their paleness and lasers that fire from their nipples, although Conan typically spends most of the fight crying and wetting himself.
Pierre Bernard's Recliner of Rage
Graphic designer Pierre Bernard gives a long-winded rant about something nerdy and irrelevant to a large majority of viewers, such as top-heavy Justice League Unlimited action figures.
Pimpbot 5000
A combination of the smooth cool edge of a 1970s pimp and the classic sensibility of a 1950's robot.
Preparation H Raymond
A man named Raymond distributes Preparation H to audience members while singing his theme song.

Satellite TV
Conan flips through obscure channels received from NBC's massive satellite dish. Some favorites include "Jar Barf" and "Stackenblocken."
Staring Contest
Conan and Andy Richter have a staring contest which causes the two to escalate distracting the other with something bizarre in order to make him blink.
The State of the Show Address
The night after the State of the Union address given by the president of the United States, Conan gives a similar speech about the state of the show along with his trusted sidekicks and characters.

One of Joel Goddard's Asian male prostitutes, who most frequently appears when Joel's love of Asian men comes up.
Triumph the Insult Comic Dog
A foul-mouthed Yugoslavian Mountain Hound slings insults with an Eastern European accent at places like the Westminster Dog Show and the American Idol tryouts.

The Walker, Texas Ranger Lever
After NBC acquired Universal Studios in 2004, Conan used his new found reserves of royalty free video to show random clips of Walker, Texas Ranger whenever he pulled a brightly colored level by his desk.
What in the World?
Conan attempts to guess the full picture based on an extreme close-up. The pictures slowly backs out until something completely unexpected is revealed.
