Quickly as you can...snatch the pebble from my hand...

Kung Fu tells the story of Kwai Chang Caine, a half-American, half-Chinese Shaolin Monk, wanted for murder, who wanders the American west in the 1870s. Throughout his journey, Caine has flashbacks of his training at the hands of Master Kan and Master Po. They impart to him knowledge both of combat and spiritual enhancement.

The series ran from 1972 to 1975. In 1986, the made-for-tv movie Kung Fu: The Movie premiered, continuing the story of Caine. A spin-off/remake series, Kung Fu: The Legend Continues (reset in the present day), premiered with a TV movie in 1992 and ran in syndication beginning in 1993.
