Father of musician Mark Andes, who performed in the bands Spirit, Jo Jo Gunne, Firefall and Heart. While Mark was a member of Spirit, he wrote the song "Straight Arrow" about his dad, who played heroic characters in TV and B-movies. The song appears on Spirit's first album.
