KSDK is an NBC affiliate located to St. Louis, Missouri, displaying on digital channel 35 and virtual channel 5. The station is owned by Tegna Media.

KSDK first went to the air in 1947 as KSD-TV and as an NBC affiliate with three secondary affiliates, CBS, ABC, and DuMont. In 1953, the station dropped CBS in favor of KMOX-TV (now KMOV) signing on the air, then in 1954, dropped ABC programming in favor of WTVI (now KTVI, a Fox affiliate). Then in 1955, it also dropped DuMont before the network shut down a year later. In 1979, the station added the letter K to become the current KSDK. Sander Media wanted to buy KMOV so that Tegna would operate the station under the Sander Media ownership as a shared services agreement. Meredith wound up getting KMOV.
