KPSP-LP is the callsign for the CBS affiliate in the Palm Springs, California market. It is a class-A low-power station operating on analog channel 38. Its branding of "Local 2" denotes its channel spot on Palm Springs cable systems, channel 2. They do not have a digital transmission in operation yet but they have an application as a digital Class-A (DC) station pending. They would perform a "flash-cut" and broadcast on digital channel 38.

The station signed on broadcasting on channel 58 as independent K58FJ. It became a Pax affiliate in 1998. The station also went under callsigns KDPX-LP (now Palm Springs' Ion affiliate, on channel 45) and KVCC. During this time, Palm Springs received CBS programming by cable (and viewers with strong outdoor aerials) from KCBS/channel 2 in Los Angeles. They moved to channel 38 in 1999 and became a CBS affiliate in 2001.

As a low-powered station, KPSP-LP was not required to shut its analog transmission off on June 12, 2009.
