Jordan Hinson grew up as a dedicated gymnast before switching to acting in plays at the age of five pulled her away from gymnastics. Hinson appeared in numerous television commercials once she moved to Los Angeles.
Jordan got her first big break as Katelin Kingsford in the Disney Channel Original Movie Go Figure. Jordan trained in Los Angeles with Olympic choreographer Sarah Kawahara for 6 weeks before filming began. She attended a hockey camp for two weeks with other cast members and the Lady Grizzlies Hockey Team in Salt Lake City, where the movie was filmed in January-February 2005.
Filming for Sci Fi Channel's original series Eureka began in April 2005 on Vancouver Island, British Columbia, Canada, and concluded in May. Sci Fi Channel ordered an addition 11 1-hour episodes, on top of the 2-hour Pilot, shortly afterwards and Jordan went back to filming as Zoe Carter in Spring/Summer 2006. She joined Colin Ferguson, Salli Richardson-Whitfield, Joe Morton and Ed Quinn.
Between the Pilot and the rest of the first Season of Eureka, Jordan began filming The Good Mother in Simi Valley as Abby. She joined The 4400's Joel Gretsch, Angie Harmon and Bobby Coleman on the cast.
The second season of Eureka, in which Jordan returns as Zoe Carter, premieres on July 10, 2007 at 9/8c on Sci Fi Channel.

- Began performing at the age of five in local plays at a small children's theater. Kept busy doing voice overs and local commercials
- Moved to Hollywood to pursue her acting career. After a couple of national commercials, she got the lead role in "Go Figure"
- She is home schooled and maintains an excellent GPA.
- She has an older brother named Shaun, who is 10 months older.
