Happenings
Peter is in New York City, in a coma, and laying in a hospital bed. In an internal monologue, Peter reflects on how he is supposed to be the hero, not lying defeated in a hospital. He says he saw himself as the bomb, but it wasn't him. He then imagines himself as a super hero, spandex and cape and all.
He is fighting The Rocket, who used his jetpack to rob a bank and frame Super Peter. He dispatches The Rocket, in a classic comic display of exposition, by flying the villain high in the air, until his jetpack stops working. Then, he drops him to the ground, breaking his invulnerable suit. As Super Peter looks at the broken and defeated Rocket, he removes his helmet. It is Peter in the Rocket suit. The revelation is shocking to Super Peter, and he reiterates that he isn't the villain, he's the hero. It ends with a shot of Peter still in the hospital bed, unmoved from where we saw him at the beginning, with his brother Nathan sitting next to the bed.
