Meredith Gordon is the biological mother of Claire Bennet. She used her pyrokinetic powers to throw Noah Bennet off her trail, but was forced to leave her baby behind. Many years later, Claire discovered her actual mother, as well as her biological father. She is played by Jessalyn Gilsig.

Powers and Abilities
Meredith Gordon can create and manipulate fire. The extent of this power is unknown, but it is assumed that she can at least create and control enough to start a large enough fire to cover her escape from Noah and Claude.
