Eden McCain (real name Sarah Ellis) was the next door neighbor of Chandra Suresh. After Mohinder came to investigate his father's death, she has helped him as well so she could spy on him to see if more supers could be tracked down. She is played by Nora Zehetner.

Basic Information

Eden McCain was the next door neighbor of Chandra Suresh, but she actually was working for the Horn-Rimmed Glasses Man to use Chandra's research to track down more supers. After Mohinder came to investigate his father's death, she has helped him as well and continued to pass along information to the Horn-Rimmed Glasses Man.

Powers

• Persuasion — Eden has the power to influence people to her will, which includes direct instruction of all functions, voluntary and involuntary (e.g. "Die", causing her step-mother's heart to stop.)

Weaknesses

• Eden's power is based on voice control - if she can't speak, she can't control anyone.
• Eden's power can be suppressed by the Haitian's power.

Character History

Eden is the product of a dysfunctional home. Her father and stepmother fought a lot until her father finally got up and left one day. He left Eden behind, as he didn't want a child. Her stepmother blamed her for his leaving and made her do much of the housework. Eden was a very quiet child. One day when she was a young woman, Eden got so fed up with her mother that she said that she wished she just died — and she did, dropping a cigarette into a pool of volatile cleaning fluid. Eden couldn't revive her mother and left. She headed west.
