The Adventures of Nick Carter (1972) is a TV movie based on the popular early 20th century detective stories. It was intended as a pilot for a series to be called Great Detectives. Two other pilots for the series aired as part of the ABC Movie of the WeekHound of the Baskervilles and A Very Missing Person—but the series never sold.
