Five News is the news program from Five in the UK. Five News has been produced by Sky News since January 1, 2005 before that it was produced by ITN.

Five News prides itself at "making sense of an uncertain world". Much of its 'news' are human interest stories and features.

When the program launched, as Channel 5 News, it broke new ground by introducing colour and bringing the presenters out from behind their desk.
