[edit] Plot Overview
To avoid a sexual harassment lawsuit, the owner of the Mini-Mart gives Peter a coupon redeemable for free gasoline for a year. Lois decides that the family should go on a vacation to Grand Canyon. But as the Griffins are packing up the car, a sleep-famished Stewie — he had stayed up the entire previous night watching an adult television show — gets out of the car and goes back into the house to go to bed. Stewie later wakes up and, after getting no response from anyone in the house, realizes he has been left home alone. Stewie gleefully romps through the house, doing what he pleases.
The Griffins, meanwhile, fail to notice Stewie is missing until after they arrive in New York; they had decided to visit the site of the 9/11 attacks on their way to Arizona. Lois decides to call Quagmire and Cleveland to babysit Stewie. When they arrive at the house and walk in, Stewie mistakes them for burglars and subdues them with noxious gas; when he realizes who his victims are, he decides to have fun with them by shackling them in the basement and forcing them to watch DirecTV's looping "Help Channel" service.
After he eats all the food in the house and realizes he has no money to buy more, Stewie gets a job at McBurger Town. However, he is fired in short order after he is caught sneaking food on the job.
Lois gets frantic after Quagmire and Cleveland fail to return repeated phone calls, so she makes Peter drive home to get Stewie. On the way home, Peter's inattention to the road — he became distracted at a comedy children's movie on the TV screen of a passing car — causes the family's car to go off the road and into a ravine. Everyone escapes uninjured, but Lois is very angry and starts an argument over Peter's continual buffoonish behavior. As Peter is defending himself, Brian manages to hitch a ride for the family back to Quahog. There, Stewie (who was starting to miss the others) and the family reunite and all is well ... except for the fact that Quahog and Cleveland are still shackled in the basement and watching the DirecTV "Help Channel."

- The Cleveland Show — In the show's closing scene, Cleveland remarks about getting his own spinoff, a plug for the soon-to-premiere Fox animated series.
