Fox Reality Channel is a now-defunct American cable network dedicated to reality programming. The channel was established on May 24, 2005 as a place to syndicate FOX reality program repeats like American Idol, Hell's Kitchen and Don't Forget the Lyrics. After time, it began to pick up non-FOX reality shows like Punk'd and even began to produce original content. At its peak, the channel could be seen in 50 million homes as part of digital cable and satellite packages. It was announced in October 2009 that the channel would be decommissioned on March 31, 2010 and turned into an American version of National Geographic Wild.
