Plot Overview

With her brother, Eric still missing and her mother, Maggie arriving to Chicago, Abby is at her wits' end while Carter tries to help figure out why the search for Eric has been stalled; Carter and Abby care for a young boy who was accidentally hit by his mother's car which leaves him brain-dead; Lewis is flattered when her teenage cancer patient has a crush on her, but she ends up getting an earful from the boy's mother; Weaver gets her purse stolen on her way to work; when Pratt goes on a paramedic ride-along, he's in for quite a surprise when a homeless man that was pronounced dead comes alive in the morgue; Luka returns to the ER and saves the life of a teenager who overdosed on drugs.
