Dungeons and Dragons was an animated fantasy airing Saturday mornings on CBS. It is based on the role-playing game of the same name.

Six children board an amusement park ride which catapults them into time and plops them in the land of dungeons and dragons. Each of the kids takes the role of a character in the game as they traverse unknown perils in their quest to return to their own time and home.

After a three-year run, CBS brought Dungeons and Dragons back in mid-season 1989-90, replacing Rude Dog and the Dweebs for six months.
