Droopy, Master Detective is a animated comedy that aired on FOX.
Donning a trenchcoat and assisted by is equally lugubrious son Dripple, Tex Avery's resourceful bloodhound solves crimes as well as bedevilling the Wolf (also an Avery holdover). That September, new episodes of Avery's short-lived screen star Screwy Squirrel (here called Screwball Squirrel) were introduced. Here Screwball Squirrel lives in a park tree and bedevils park attendant Rumply and his dimwit dog Dweeble.
