Plot Overview
Ponch sees a lot of himself in Melanie, the rookie officer he's training, and his efforts to keep her in line are complicated by the fact that he may be attracted to her. The couple stealing wallets on the boardwalk are easily caught, but the three escapees, who are looking for a fortune in silver buried under a house, are a little harder to find.
