  • His sister, Andrea, died of an aneurysm at the age of 34; he had two other siblings who died in childbirth before he was born.
  • His sister, Gay, died of scleroderma at the age of 47; Bob made a television movie in 1996 called For Hope based on his sister's struggle with the disease.
  • Graduated from Abington Senior High School in Abington, Pennsylvania.
  • Attended Temple University where he graduated with a B.A. in 1978
  • Married his wife, Sherri Kramer Saget in 1982; they have three daughters: twins Aubrey & Lara (born in October of 1989) and Jennifer (born in 1992); they divorced in 1997.
