Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventures is an animated comedy that aired on CBS for one season and FOX for one season.

The show followed the premise of the first Bill & Ted movie, in which Bill S. Preston, Esq. and Theodore Logan travel through time in their special phone booth to assist in their school assignments. For the season on CBS made by Hanna-Barbera, the voices of Alex Winter, Keanu Reeves and George Carlin, all from the movie, are Bill, Ted and Rufus (the boys' mentor) respectively. In a particularly inventive episode, the boys go to 1700s Austria to meet Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart in an effort to show how classical music and rock and roll can blend in harmony. Mozart is a pre-teen brat here, and the boys take him and wind up in 1955 Macon, Georgia, where they pick up 50s rock star Little Richard (voiced by himself).

The season made by DiC for FOX goes off into another universe with their storylines, as well as using different voices--the same actors later appeared in the Bill & Ted live action prime time show. FOX also replayed the Hanna-Barbera episodes.
