Plot Overview

Buckley told Walter that Danny had a Pink Panther lipstick smear on his hand, then they laughed about so-called Sam. Liz had a weary expression as Dru and John tried to reassure a glum Bill he couldn't have defended Missy against Walter any more successfully. Bill was dejected when everyone forbade him from going over to see Missy. After Walter learned only Danny and Missy's prints were on the gun, he ordered Buckley to arrest Missy on Murder 2. Missy had tea with Mary and described pretending her own family was like the Matthews. Missy cried gratefully on Mary's shoulder after explaining why she'd run away. They were stunned when Buckley showed up to arrest Missy, who looked back piteously toward Mary, who phoned John. For different reasons, Liz and Dru and John convinced Bill not to accompany Dru to the station. John's face was a study as he violently wheeled himself around so he wouldn't have to see Liz comfort Bill.
