Plot Overview

Ada was unconvinced of his innocence when Sam moaned about burning for a murder he didn't commit. Alice was genuinely sympathetic when she ran into Lenore on campus and was told of her break-up, then understood fully when Lenore explained Liz's idea to keep wearing the ring. Liz gave Bill her little tolerant smile and hugged him briefly before leaving. Pat was appalled to return home and learn from John and Bill of Missy's arrest. John assured Bill that Dru would have Missy remind the police of Sam. Sam argued it didn't make sense to have killed a man who has bound to pay him off. Ada fumed when Sam felt he had enough troubles of his own to worry about staking Rachel's fare to spend 3 months in Hollywood. Ada, sure that Rachel was pretty, bright, and talented enough to succeed, planned to buy a pretty pink stucco house on Sunset Boulevard and send a photo of it to Pierre's. Mary was shocked when Liz smiled and voiced her belief that Missy was entirely capable of killing Danny.
