- Jenoff: Jenoff is the owner of a casino primarily patronized by demons. He offers a service in which someone can trade their soul for something the need right at that instant. Later, he collects on that soul by gouging out the patron's eyes and absorbing it into his body. Jenoff also has regenerative properties which allow him to regrow limbs, including his head.

- Gunn: Approximately 7 years prior to this episode, Gunn sold his soul in order to get a truck. His debt is wiped clean after Angel cuts off Jenoff's head and lets everyone in the casino beat on him. Gunn mentions that he was 17 when this happened, which would put him somewhere around 24 by the time the events of this episode occurred.
- Angel: Angel is seen deconstructing Connor's crib in this episode. This can be taken as him finally accepting that his son is gone.
