Basic Information

The Clones are, for most of the series, coworkers of Nikki Wong at the Khaki Barn clothing store, where Chrissy is an assistant manager while Kirsten and Kristen are sales associates. Nikki nicknamed the three girls The Clones because, except for their hairstyles, all three look, sound and act alike, fit right into the teenybopper stereotype (including not acting very smart, religiously following the latest teen trends and fads and frequently chatting about them mindlessly to Nikki's annoyance) and believe that individualism is overrated and conformity is the way to go for them and everyone else, making them the direct opposites of Nikki. As a reflection of their gabby and gossipy natures, all three Clones are also physically depicted with big, wide mouths and comparatively thinner jaws than other characters on the show.

The Clones do not like Nikki very much and are often intimidated by her (and sometimes even scared of her), and Nikki thinks very little of The Clones' personalities and does all she can not to fit the Khaki Barn's mold (although Chrissy nearly succeeded once in turning Nikki into a Clone in "Employee of the Month" by using reverse psychology), but The Clones do not seem to mind having Nikki around at work because her lack of motivation to make sales means more for them. In the 6teen series finale, Nikki finally has enough of The Clones and announces to them, in front of everyone else inside the store, that she is quitting the Khaki Barn for good, having had enough of working with them and being employed by a store that represents everything Nikki is against and which The Clones embrace.

Trivia

  • In 6teen's closed captions, each of The Clones are often misidentified by the first names of the actresses voicing them instead of the character names—"Emily" for Chrissy, "Stephanie" for Kirsten and "Lauren" for Kristen.

Quotes

  • "Have a Khaki day!" (spoken by any of The Clones in most episodes)
