Season 7 is an upcoming season of 24. Content may change as the season premiere date approaches and more information becomes available.

Season Seven of 24 was originally meant to premiere on January 13, 2008, but the Writers Guild strike caused FOX to put the series on an indefinite hiatus dependent on when the strike ended. Had the season gone on as scheduled, it would have ran out of episodes in less than two months because only eleven episodes were ready for production. In February, when the strike was in its last days, showrunner David Fury told E! Online that the season likely would not see broadcast until 2009 because "24 works best 24 hours in a row."

After negative reviews and sinking ratings for season six the show is being retooled and relocated. Once again most of the cast will be new and for the first time most of the action will take place in Washington, DC instead of Los Angeles.
