The first season of 24 is collected in its entirety on this DVD. There are very, very few extras but includes an episode guide and an alternative ending to the final episode of the season.

Special Features

• The alternative ending had Jack and Kimberly walking down a hall in search of Teri. Kiefer leaves Kim outside of the hall after finding a dead security guard. He finds Teri gagged and bound in a room. Kim runs into the room, despite her father's request, and they all walk out alive and well. This ending was cut when they realized that a happy ending would be impossible because the view had learner to expect the unexpected.
• The introduction to season one has Kiefer Sutherland explaining the plot of the first season of 24 and gave his take on the production of the series, including the real-time gimmick. He also gives a short preview of the second season. He doesn't give specifics, but rather says that it will give the viewer "more."
