Plot Overview
Kathy Stockdale and her husband, Tim moved their family from the city to a farm in Ohio to live a more wholesome life. They have a family band that consists of their sons: 19-year-old Calvin, 16-year-old Charles, 14-year-old Jacob and 11-year-old James. The boys don't have much interaction with the outside world and they have even signed a contract to show up on time for their household chores.
Kathy swaps lives with Laurie Tonkovic from Illinois. Laurie and her husband, John live with their 21-year-old son, Paul, 17-year-old Meghan, Paul's girlfriend, Samantha and Meghan's boyfriend, Hector. Laurie and John prefer to be friends with their kids, allowing them to do whatever they want. They also support them financially, especially Paul, who is an aspiring rapper.
