Plot Overview
Debby Zaring from Indiana runs her family's cattle farm, works in a canteen and runs a hair salon. Her husband, Jake is a competitive truck-puller who is constantly on the road. His passion for truck pulling has affected the couple's marriage and caused him to miss out on important moments in the lives of his two children: 19-year-old Jordan and 17-year-old Izaak. The kids juggle work and chores, and they've never had a birthday party.
Debby swaps lives with Corrie LaBrie from Michigan. Corrie spends her days working as a professional engineer. At night, she enjoys throwing parties or going out. When he's not working as a rock and roll DJ, husband Tony does all of the chores at home. Corrie's 15-year-old daughter, Tuesday prefers to spend her time either sleeping or texting while 8-year-old daughter Hunter is learning how to be independent as she fixes herself breakfast and walks to the school bus stop in the mornings.
