Plot Overview
Elizabeth Ghani of Southern California lives an alternative lifestyle with her partner, Adofo (who is an artist). Elizabeth, Adofo and their three kids: 11-year-old Khaliq, 9-year-old Khalil and 7-year-old Yaasmeen begin every day mediating together at 6:30 a.m. The kids are forbidden to watch TV and play video games and the family eats vegetarian meals. Elizabeth only spends 15 minutes a day cleaning the house.
Elizabeth swaps lives with Paulette Stallone of New Jersey, who is a stay-at-home mother and rarely sees her husband, Mike (who works long hours as an accountant). She spends her days cooking for her family and babying her two kids, 15-year-old Nicole & 12-year-old Mike Jr. (who Elizabeth helps groom and dress every morning before school). The kids are allowed to watch TV, play video games, eat junk food and are even served breakfast in bed. Elizabeth believes in keeping the house tidy and cleans it eight hours a day.
