  • We find out that Lianne Mars (Lianne Reynolds) graduated Neptune High in 1979. Under her high school yearbook picture it mentions that she was in Tennis, Key Club, Honor Roll and Drama along with a quote by Sophocles, "One word frees us of all the weight of pain of life, that word is love."
  • Veronica finds out that Jake Kane and her mom, Lianne Mars, were boyfriend and girlfriend in high school and that they were also Prom King and Queen.

  • Clue: Clue is a board game set in a mansion where you must solve the murder of Mr. Boddy, the owner of the mansion. There are six players involved, one of them being Professor Plum. In the game, you must state an accusation after obtaining clues as to who murdered Mr. Boddy in the form of <character> in the <room> with the <murder weapon>. This has entered into popular culture in America.
André: A loud thump, hmm that must have been when I cracked her head over with the candlestick and she crumpled to the ground. No wait, that was Professor Plum in the Study.
