Universal Cable Productions (UCP) is a television production arm of NBC Universal, and a subsidiary of Universal Television, focused on productions for cable networks. Distribution and sales are handled by corporate sibling NBC Universal Television Distribution.
Established in mid-2008 UCP has taken over producion of four series then-produced by Universal Media Studios, including Law & Order: Criminal Intent (2001–2011), Monk (2002–2009), Psych (2006—), and Eureka (2006–2012).
