Star in a Reasonably Priced Car

This week's Star in a Reasonably Priced Car is Billie Piper, an English actress. She talks with Clarkson about Doctor Who and her love of old cars. Billie Piper races the Chevrolet Lacetti around the test track in 1.48.3, but she cut corners on the track. The Stig believes there should be a time penalty of 3 seconds, but the audience yells to keep the time as is.

Ford Shelby GT500

Richard Hammond reviews the Ford Shelby GT500.

The Stig takes the Ford Shelby GT500 around the test track in 1.30.0. Clarkson points out how wobbly the Shelby GT500 went around the track and brings up the Roush Mustang. It has less horsepower, but they changed out the suspension and brakes. Hammond points out it's £10,000 (about $19,500) more expensive than the Shelby GT500, but Clarkson believes its £10,000 more a car and properly brilliant. The Stig takes the Roush Mustang around the test track in 1.28.0, but you could get a BMW M3 for the same money.
